Martha Ford

  General Notes:

Martha suffered from gestational Epilepsy while she was pregnant with her 9th pregnancy ( at the age of 41) Martha spent the last 12 years of her life in the Forston Asylum where she was considered ` disordered in her senses`. Forston Asylum went on to become the Herrison Hospital ( a mental institution) which was closed in the early 1980`s.

Martha married John Dunford, son of John Dunford and Joan Groze, on 21 Dec 1813 in England. (John Dunford was born in 1790 in Great Toller, Dorset, England, christened on 15 Apr 1790 in TollerPorcorum and died on 2 Apr 1864 in England.)
