He married his first wife in America, her name unknown, when she died he came back to England with three of five of their children ( Bill, Len, and Flossie) the eldest child, Thirza died before leaving America and the baby, name unknown was left in America.... More info been found: Bill = William, Len, and Flossie = Florence, Baby = Ernest who was 5 Months old on the passenger list, so the baby didn't get left behind, but only 3 children came back with Thomas. Florence does not appear on the 1901 Cnesus with Thomas and his 2nd family, but William does. Thomas went to America sometimes after 1881, on the British 1881 Census, and came back to England in 1896 from Pennslyvania, (on incoming passenger ship list.)
